MSRB and SIFMA to Hold Compliance Seminar on October 27, 2008

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) are pleased to announce that they will be holding a compliance seminar regarding MSRB rules and initiatives. The seminar will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, New York, NY. Members of the MSRB legal staff will discuss MSRB rules and recent initiatives and will be available to answer questions on a variety of topics. Mac Northam, Director, Fixed Income Securities Regulation, at FINRA, will also make a presentation. This seminar is open to all members of the municipal securities community. There is no charge for attending; however, pre-registration is required. New York State CLE credit is available.
