MSRB and BDA to Co-Host Municipal Securities Regulation Seminar in St. Louis

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the Bond Dealers of America (BDA) will hold a municipal securities regulation seminar for all market participants on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel, 999 North Second Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63102. Panel discussions will address current MSRB rulemaking initiatives, including underwriter duties to issuers and the development of rules for retail order periods. An update will also be given on the regulation of brokers’ brokers.

Senior staff from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Internal Revenue Service will also participate in the conference and will discuss current compliance and enforcement issues.
