MSRB’s outreach to industry stakeholders has been front and center this spring as the organization hosted the second of two meetings, which we outlined in a February open letter to stakeholders in The Bond Buyer.

On Tuesday, April 16, prior to the MSRB’s third quarterly Board meeting, MSRB Board Leadership, Finance Committee members, along with several other members of the Board and MSRB senior staff, met with industry stakeholders to discuss the MSRB’s budget and technology initiatives, providing greater transparency and insight into these areas. The meeting opened up an opportunity for various stakeholder groups representing broker-dealers, municipal advisors, issuers and investors to come together and share their perspectives. This event followed a meeting in March with regulated entities to discuss the MSRB’s 2024 rate card and fee-setting process.

We look forward to continued engagement with our stakeholders as we advance the MSRB’s mission of protecting and strengthening the municipal securities market.
