MSRB Announces Webinar Series on Market Information Programs

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (the “MSRB”) will host a series of training webinars designed to assist municipal securities market participants, including issuers and dealers, using MSRB market information programs. The webinars are part of a continuing effort to ensure that brokers, dealers, and municipal securities dealers comply with MSRB rules regarding the submission of information and documents to the MSRB’s Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) system. Further, the webinars are intended to educate other municipal market participants regarding the EMMA submission process, and the process for accessing information and documents on the EMMA public portal. The training webinars are scheduled for September through December 2010. Registration information is located on the Events and Training section of www.msrb.org.

The scheduled webinars will provide training for individuals who submit documents to EMMA, including submitters of continuing disclosure documents and primary market disclosure documents.
