Electronic G-37 Submission System (eG-37 System) Becomes Operational
The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (“MSRB”) announces that its Electronic G-37 Submission System, or eG-37 System, became operational today. The eG-37 System permits brokers, dealers and municipal securities dealers (“dealers”) to make submissions of Form G-37/G-38 and Form G-37x through the MSRB’s website. The MSRB also has revised its Instructions for Form G-37/G-38 and Form G-37x to incorporate procedures for electronic submissions under the eG-37 System and to reflect recent amendments to Rules G-37 and G-38.
The eG-37 System, the Instructions for Form G-37/G-38 and Form G-37x, and other materials relating to electronic and paper submissions under Rules G-37 and G-38 have been consolidated into a Political Contributions Information area of the MSRB’s website. The eG-37 System also may be accessed by registered users through the MSRB’s home page at www.msrb.org by clicking on the “Log-in” link.
Prior to initial use of the eG-37 System, dealers must register with the MSRB. The registration form is available at the Political Contributions Information section of the website. Dealers are not required to use the eG-37 System and may continue to make submissions to the MSRB in paper form.
