The MSRB offers free online training about the municipal securities market, the EMMA® website, MSRB rules and much more.

Market professionals can use MSRB webinars and courses to:

  • Fulfill the firm-element component of continuing education requirements depending on the firm's annual written training plan (see MSRB Rule G-3);
  • Earn continuing professional education (CPE) credit from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA); and
  • Stay abreast of regulatory, transparency and other developments.

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: https://www.nasbaregistry.org/
