The MSRB seeks to provide municipal market participants with updated information and continuing education about MSRB rules and services. This education and outreach is a key part of the MSRB's mission.
The MSRB publishes press releases about regulatory developments and other initiatives. Additional details about changes to or interpretations of MSRB rules can be found in the regulatory notices section of the website.
Periodic events and training sessions hosted by the MSRB for municipal securities dealers and other market participants provide education about regulatory and compliance issues, and about using MSRB market information services and systems. All training is free and open to any market participant subject to MSRB rules or that submits information to the MSRB.
The MSRB provides investor protection, fair practice and disclosure rules for securities firms and banks marketing municipal bonds and 529 college savings plans to investors.
